SPRING CHALLENGE 2010
14 Divisions, 84 Players and 126 Matches, there's a lot of tennis to be played in this year's Spring Challenge!!
The Rules and Other Stuff:
1. Normal scoring applies except when each player wins a set. A champions tiebreak is then played which is the same as the normal tiebreak except the winner must reach 10 instead of 7 points and be 2 points clear of their opponent.
2. Please make every effort to get your matches played on the scheduled date.
3. Winners must submit scores to Eoin Fleming the day after the match (text 086-8355340 or mail This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ).
4. Finals night and prizegiving (complete with the now infamous Bowe's Burger BBQ) will be held on Tuesday 30th and Wednersday 31st March
5. The entrance fee of €5 will be collected during the tournament. Don't be shy, feel free to give the cash to Eoin, Andy, Frances or any other member of the committee.

WINTER LEAGUE
Hard luck to the Ladies 3rd Team who narrowly lost out to a strong Portmarnock side 2-1 on Sunday in the knockout stages of Winter League. It was a great campaign from all involved so well played to Captain Monica & Martine, Emily & Linda and Carmel & Rosena as well as everyone who subbed in.
